My dating life has always been pretty ok. Some exciting things happened sometimes; however, Okinawa seems to make relationships seem like a television drama, especially when the majority of the English-speaking dating pool that I’m fishing in are young, fresh-from-America, military members.
The drama of my current situation doesn’t even seem real to me. I cannot write it out because it is far too ridiculous. And in an Abed-esque way (Community reference, as I watched the entire first season in 5 days with my sister over the winter break) I am incredibly curious as to what will unfold in this soap opera that is Dating in Okinawa and, simultaneously, my life.
